151 suggestions were given during the name competition, which ran from 27 January to 5 February, and the suggestions came from all corners of CBS. Students, researchers, the Senior Management, the administrative staff and Campus Services. Everyone participated in finding a fitting name for the new media.
CBS student Mikaela Jacqueline Grøndal, who studies European Business on 4th semester, came up with the name Wire and won the competition to claim the prize of DKK 1,000 gift certificate to Academic Books.

The media was intrigued by the word Wire, which holds symbolic meanings that correspond with the core values of the future CBS media. The media wants to bind CBS closer together, write strong and relevant stories and the media itself wants to be robust.
CBS Wire will launch online later this spring, but can be found on different social media platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube very soon.
